Chap Petersen has pulled his support for the stadium bill. It’s dead.

We need to slam the door on this boneheaded idea.

Disney America was stopped. This should be stopped, too.

Traffic would be even more of a nightmare than it is now. That area was considered for the Nationals minor league baseball team, who vetoed it and ended up near Fredericksburg. No way would it be appropriate for a major league football franchise.

you didn't read it. "Doesn't create a penny of debt"

And what happens if tax revenues generated by the stadium populated only by the team with the second lowest attendance in the NFL are insufficient to cover the debt obligations? Will the stadium authority default on its debt, or will taxpayers make up the difference?

Narrator: The tax revenues won't be sufficient, and the taxpayers will make up the difference.

None of this is going to happen now to at the NFL is collecting votes to strip Snyder of his ownership.

Good, as long as it's not Loudoun, where I live. PWC can have them.

They are not coming back to DC unless they pay for the stadium. DC won't pay for it. Not politically viable.

Now that all the rampant fraud within the Commanders organization is coming out, I sincerely hope Governor Dumdum and the idiots in the General Assembly who wanted to offer the organization a package to come to Virginia will come to their senses. If Snyder doesn’t lost the team entirely over this, why would anyone believe he wouldn’t defraud Virginia taxpayers like he has the NFL?
