Well… they were also the 1st to shut down in 3020, 2 weeks before everybody else, since students just came back from travel abroad.
I'm a bit confused by the statement that the Heights was the "only school in our area that opened at full capacity." What about all of the parochials, Brookewood, Avalon, any others? How on earth was the Heights the "only school"? Also, full capacity at the Heights is how many students per classroom? I'm also confused by the statement that the Heights was the first to go back to school. Um, my parochial started up in Fall 2020. Doesn't it count? Does the Heights start extra early in mid-August or something?
I like a lot about the Heights; I just don't understand the hyperbole.
Pp probably meant of the relevant schools. Avalon/Brookwood have campuses in churches basements.
Besides didn’t those two schools start off as fake versions of the heights because the old headmaster got booted?
Avalon moved to Wheaton. I was not impressed when I looked at it and the head of the school was not at all inclusive.
What does this mean?

Love the posters who say it's full of liberal parents. If you think they are liberal, you are off the scale to the right.
I had the same impression skimming through the thread. The OP got their wish, an unvarnished look at the real mentality behind Heights families.
I was really impressed by the student and alumnus who posted. The belligerent parents, not so much.

SO you are not at the school but feel like you can comment on it. My guess is that is your go-to move on most subjects.

It’s a cute phrase, but many of those unvaccinated people have already acquired natural immunity through prior infection, which has been shown to be as good (if not better than) vaccine-induced protection.
Every day I talk with more and people who are fully “vaccinated and boosted” and have gotten COVID.
