That’s correct. I think they need 51% of staff to join to be eligible. If the teacher voices of AEA (not Gant) weren’t so overwrought and dramatic I might join but it’s clear to me they have no interest in serving the more rational staff.

The president of AEA sent out a letter laden with grammar errors. She was an instructional assistant for APS? They make $25K a year. No wonder she wanted to jump ship and be president of the AEA. You guys are expecting a lot of bang for your buck there, don’t you think? If you believe in you get what you pay for her, I think her grammar is just fine.

+1 I swear there are about 20 staff members in the district who are very loud and online making the other 7,000 of us look bad. I'd rather stroll in Monday morning unmasked with a sign that says "cough on me" than return to virtual.
