FSU had 9 to 10 players back for most of the game and took out the leading score in the NCAA with a dirty play. They played a defensive game. They saw what Santa Clara did and copied it.

No they are better at soccer.
The team is the most successful in international women's soccer, winning four Women's World Cup titles (1991, 1999, 2015, and 2019), four Olympic gold medals (1996, 2004, 2008, and 2012), and eight CONCACAF Gold Cups.

1. People may choose to cheer for whatever team they please for whatever reason the choose.
2. For me, if UVA or Tech was playing an out of state school, I would cheer for UVA or Tech even though I have mo allegiance to them. They represent my state. If a local HS team was playing in a State tournament vs a Richmond team....I would cheer for the local HS because they represent my area...my school district...whatever.
