Though, doth protest too much, methinks. You probably have an axe to grind with VYS or you have an associatation with another club in ECNL. Which one is it?
Me thinks because me knows.
Not happening. Make believe.
This isn’t going to age well.
VYS isn't getting in without BRYC getting kicked out.
This is so frickin stupid. Vienna isn't getting into ECNL boys or girls. Maybe they can align with someone who already has ECNL but that's about it and if Vienna cared about their best players, they'd be sending them to those ECNL clubs anyway. With that said...the sock puppet guy has to be biggest dork in the world. Probably sits around with maybe his one friend telling fart jokes all night...or maybe just his dog, if his dog can stand him.
You're the sock puppet.
Nobody can send players anywhere. Players can play where they want, and there are plenty of players throughout area clubs that started at VYS. That's no different than for other clubs that aren't in ECNL or MLS Next.
I think they mean that VYS should be encouraging their players with potential to tryout at ECNL clubs.
Is VYS going the same route as SYC? Not in terms of a relationship my McLean, but with BRYC instead.....
Yes. I heard Union with BRYC. VYS will still have their other teams as VYS. Similar to SYC and McLean. Announcement in February
I heard this as well. Bryc making moves merging with fcv and partnering with VYS. Good for them.
LOL!!!!
I have no idea who you are or why I should care about your opinion.
Because BRYC has had talks with nearly every club over the past few years and they never materialized. Essentially they all end over control and branding. All involved parties want both control and branding and none want to give it up.
BRYC would certainly want FCV’s players but that can’t be guaranteed by FCV. FCV would want control and the ECNL badge they didn’t earn plus there is the whole TSJ ownership aspect.
VYS, stands a better chance but because they have a viable Rec program and a boys side.
And then what is unknown is BRYC’s status with ECNL.
Bottom line, I’m sure there are talks because BRYC has talked with literally every club over the past few years and at the end of the day they all break down.
I guess it takes a Union and clubs with Valor to make this happen
Anonymous wrote:My family has some experience with both BRYC and VYS. Consolidation of these two clubs would make sense. They mostly draw from adjacent areas and both run good programs; but each seems just a bit too small to reach that next level. Will be interesting to see how this turns out.

I heard this to. FCV is keeping this close hold as it impacts their current season
Sure you did.
Is it true that FCV hired a coach or two that were fired from Spirit and led to the change in ownership at Spirit? Why in the world would FCV do that? That’s insane and particularly tone deaf given the current environment in girls soccer today
Yes. This is true
