Yes I’m looking forward to him bankrupting VDOE/FCPS with creating 20 charter schools and school choice vouchers

Yes I’m looking forward to him opening up VA for business again when it’s already open for business lol

Yes I’m looking forward to be racially profiled more then ever JAN2022

Youngkin can at least help reverse the travesty visited on TJ and the Governors School.

Doubtful. Do you think the FCPS board would go back to no URMs or just close the school if they were faced with the option? I’m guessing this board would just close the school

Then Bezos would open a new one in Arlington with the kids who belong in high level secondary education.

Sure, everything about Bezos' activities leads me to believe he'll create a segregation academy.

Well if a racist governor is your type, there is nothing more to know about you.

Read a bit more about TJ. I have a kid there who came in under the "old" application system. I have another kid who would come in under this new system, but I doubt he'll make it. I think it is harder now. You need to be at the top of your own school. The fact that it opened for more schools than just the McLean feeding MS is a good thing. Bad for my kid though.

I have one TJ grad, one who entered under the old application, and one who will enter next year. I know a good bit about the school, including that Longfellow isn’t the only middle school that preps kids for TJ. The western part of Fairfax attracts more parents whose children have the intellect to excel under both the old and new systems. TJ will just be like many other public high schools: there will be a two tier system fir those who belong there and another for those who do not.

Not very excited, but then he's not my type. I go for a more masculine type, the khaki pants and sweater vest is kind of ewww...
wait, you didn't meant that, did you?

I’d like to see a higher quality of candidate running on both sides. A little less bombast and a little more thought about addressing real challenges.

The reason I crossed party line to vote for Youngkin because he wasn’t a bombastic boomer like McAuliffe.
