I think there are many of us who would be happy to be rid of them. I think the way they are worn in the average elementary classroom is minimal protection.

I think if we get down to "low" / blue and have most kids vaccinated the masks will go away. Could maybe even happen by spring 2022.
CDC says masks not required for vaccinated people in areas with low/moderate transmission.

I think we are pretty close to that now. I still believe young kids should not be masked right now given our community numbers and vaccination rates. I'm so tired of the "studies" showing that Masks Work! without controlling for vaccine rates.
