1 brother that lives 7 hours away. We talk on the phone maybe twice a month. Family/group texts once or twice a day. I have a sister that lives an hour away and we text multiple times a day and see each other once a month. Now I'm sad my daughter won't have a sister

We're super close. We text throughout the week and we work on the crossword together with our dad through Zoom on Sundays

I have two brothers. Close with both. We text a lot. We're always sending jokes, news articles, twitter, etc. to each other via text. FaceTime maybe a few times a month so that cousins can chat to each other.

It seems like there's always been a family crisis as of late so we've been chatting more frequently via telephone. I imagine as our parents age that'll be even more frequent.

One brother we have a good relationship, but I can’t stand his wife, and he’s very busy. We never talk on the phone. I see him when I go see my mom. I do communicate with him on the family group chat, multiple times a week.

The other brother I talk to maybe twice a month, text directly multiple times a week. He’s very close with my 18 & 20 year old sons which is nice. He is really the best uncle anyone could ask for.

We have a group text we text in that about once a month.

My brother I was closest with died.

I talk to 2 brothers once a month and 2 brothers quarterly.

We are not "close" but we are very good to each other in a very non close way.

We have a group chat with all my siblings. Someone posts something maybe one a week or so. I never talk on the phone with my brothers unless it’s bad news, basically (eg parent in the hospital or someone died). I talk n the phone with my sisters frequently.

My brother’s marital counselor, a somewhat famous pastor, told them that his wife is his “key” and that we had to go through her to get to him. So I have to text her and hope she shows him. All visits are arranged through her and last time she scheduled my visit when he was out of town. They say they don’t have time off to visit us, but travel with SIL’s extended family.

I’ve given up on having a relationship.

NP. I'm so sorry. This sounds cult-like. It's extremely controlling behavior. I truly hope you can at least somehow ensure he has your contact information in case he eventually wakes up and tries to get away from her and he needs you. Im not kidding. This is abusive. Ypur poor brother. I suspect the pastor is bleeding your brother dry.

We text every day and see each other every few weeks. He’s 5 years younger than me and loves seeing my kids so we get together often.

Text with each of my brothers just about every day. Talk to one on the phone maybe once a week and the others more sporadically.

Text occasionally. Almost never talk by phone unless there’s an emergency involving our parents. Have a great time when we see each other in person but not much of a long-distance relationship.

I am the older sister of 2 younger brothers—were all adults in our 30s. We communicate several times per week typically in a group chat that mostly consists of pictures/videos of our kids/pets. We live pretty far away from each other and typically only get together in person 2 times per year (we’ve only seen each other once since covid though) I talk on the phone to each brother about once a month or so as well, we all send a card/gift to each other for bdays and holidays, and we usually do a FaceTime w the kids talking to each other once per month too.
