If the premise is true - maybe women put more value on the friendship, so it feels like more of a loss to them if their friend gets married. The male friend might be somewhat attracted to a female friend and realize that they need to back off if she's together with someone else.

No great disparities in income. And as I have said it's not just limited to my personal income. I've seen it on DCUM with women complaining about the girlfriend. or the wife and no longer having unlimited access to the guy.


Consider that if you're a woman sharing with other women, and given that DCUM is mostly female, you're not getting the men's inner thoughts on this




Fair enough, but with that same argument if it wasn't an issue among women, then it wouldn't appear so frequently on DCUM. Also in real life, this is rarely an issue for men from what I have observed.
