I'd say yes if you're looking to buy soon. I've seen some older, larger houses sell in the West Springfield area for under a million that I'd prefer over this house, but there's nothing like them on the market now.

Many military families do a tour or two at the Pentagon but then retire and stay in WS.

They are but Kingstowne is fine too. Especially at the elementary level (Hayfield and Island Creek). Hayfield secondary is ok but WSHS has a better academic reputation overall.
