Definition of a Classic Car
In the words of the CCCA:
A CCCA Classic is a "fine" or "distinctive" automobile, either American or foreign built, produced between 1915 and 1948. Generally, a Classic was high-priced when new and was built in limited quantities. Other factors, including engine displacement, custom coachwork and luxury accessories, such as power brakes, power clutch, and "one-shot" or automatic lubrication systems, help determine whether a car is considered to be a Classic.

My college aged kids all drive stick which means most of their friends can’t borrow their cars.

OP manual transmission cars are often a good deal as folks can’t drive them. My wife can drive a stick.
I just can’t go too wild. Once when single I briefly had a 1976 Jeep CJ7 Bicentennial Edition with the Levi Seat package complete with the screaming eagle on hood and three inch Lift kid and push bars. Girls and women were repulsed by it. No one could drive it as a stick with manual steering.
Don’t want to repeat that mistake. Probably worth a fortune today. Something cool that wife won’t be embarrassed by.
