It seems like the hub stop for our neighborhood is pretty far from where the kids actually live (its at the local elementary). I wish they could make it closer to the kids now that they know who they are, but they aren't going to move the hubs around. The bus actually drives past the end of our street to get to the stop. Mine walks 0.7 miles and the kid down the street walks about 0.5 miles. The third kid also comes from our side of the neighborhood, but is closer to the hub.

I will second this. I’m one of the complainers from earlier in the thread, but through the years I have found that transportation tends to eventually resolve problems well enough. I’ve been frustrated this week, but I’m probably more critical of the situation right now as a result of my own general angst surrounding a return to school during covid.
