I am looking for actual risk statistics.
Thought so. You have a work opportunity and you’d like to piggyback some personal fun. I get it. But, you’re pregnant and the delta variant is no joke.
Think of it this way:
1. If you get really sick and suffer, or if something happens to the pregnancy, will you blame yourself or just shake it off? Will your husband blame you?
2. Try to wrap your head around the fact that this is just the first of many sacrifices good parents make for their kids.
Most people wouldn’t travel right now given where things are with delta, but you don’t want to hear that. So, just go.

Is your vacation really worth it?
She’s traveling for work idiot.

Feeling nervous about delta and my destination does have pretty high rates (honestly here might be worse though). It also has a poor health care system (though one I trust in normal times).
Should I postpone? I do need to go before I deliver, or should, so maybe now is best? I would be eligible for a booster perhaps in November if they’re allowed.

Just try not to fret too much, I think fear actually increases the riskenjoy the country as much as possible. Travel won’t be too enjoyable for another 3 years or so, lol
Don't be stupid. There are waves of Delta. In continental Europe, June and early July were a Delta low, and now cases have spiked significantly.
