My kids will ever wear the clothes you pick out, and we order school supplies directly from the school. My mom sent a save castle maker that I had to lug to the beach and then take pictures of the kids playing with it. Just stop!!! No one needs more junk.

When you WFH, you are really working and do not need ONE MORE thing to do, including picking up unneeded/unwanted "gifts".

OMG, this is the kind of thing that makes me want to cry. It's not even the errand that will end up taking an hour that I need to fit into my day-and I've never really had a lunch break, but now lunch break usually means racing to pick my kid up from somewhere because no bus due to COVID. Overall, it's just the lack of acknowledgement of me working harder than ever (small business with 10 employees, if I don't do my job we are all out of work) and more parenting hours than ever and more stress than ever. One of my employees just tested positive for COVID-so that's today's situation. So, this kind of errand is the opposite of "I can see how hard you are working" or "I hope you can take some time for yourself, because I see how hard you've been pushing."

My mom occasionally does this, the ONLY reason I tolerate it is because the store she orders from (Carters) is located in the same plaza as the Target I go to. I just make sure she recognizes it can't be anything that is time sensitive because I'm not going out of my way to make an extra trip.
