Upcoming sophomore boys (twins.) One plays video games with friends at night and the other doesn't. Both are lifeguarding so they have human interaction, but neither socialize with their lifeguarding peers outside of work.

We don't like in an area with public transportation or places to hang out nearby. We'd be happy to transport, but neither seem to have an interest.

10th grader out 2-3x/wk usually at outdoor malls for hanging out or eating lunch or dinner. i find we have been more willing to let her go than if we hadn’t gone through COVID.

My rising sophomore has not seen a friend in over a year. She had one friend over one day last summer, only because she really encouraged it. I really hope going back to school in person will help her make friends again.

Stop judging the PP. I'm a mom, and I hate taking Uber home at night and have had several frightening experiences through the years - no WAY would I put my young teens in cars with strangers. So get off your high horse.

Hardly ever until, they started driving. Now I’m not sure they actually live with me anymore.
