Only their TA. why haven’t they updated ParentVUE with their schedule?

6th graders receive their schedule on PALS day, this week.

In the past at WMS 7th and 8th graders go to TA on the first day and receive their full schedules there. Not beforehand.

The PTA sent out an email last week saying that they'd be sent out "the Wwek of Aug 16th" but I guess that was just wishful thinking.

I'm the PP, and we got ours in the mail today.

Because it’s not late yet. If you don’t know by this Friday afternoon, then it’s fair to call. But it will be up by then. And they always have lists at the front door on the first day. I know you want this semblance of control, but there is nothing that’s going to be any different if you know today or on Tuesday.

So dumb. It’s a 2 minute phone call. They’re happy to tell you.

And wasn’t the point that it IS late? They said it would come this week and it didn’t?

Kids want to know who is in their class which is not unreasonable.

Don’t call and ask. They always tell you. It always comes in the mail later than you think it will. If it’s not there by your open house session this week just go anyway and then they will tell you. I got my middle school kid’s letter yesterday for his TA teacher,

Call your school and ask. The front office staffs are there.

Do they count the entire kindergarten class in that? 😂😂😂

They said new families, so statistically some K would have older siblings already enrolled. It seemed a strange thing to point out if they mean K families!

Were they impacted by the boundary process at all?

No, not Discovery.

We received an email yesterday. But a couple of years ago we didn’t get the letter before K orientation the Thursday before school started & just had to show up at the orientation and figure it out.

Last year we got the email on a Saturday for my new kindergartner, so I guess they could technically still make it 😊
