Don't be negative. It did last for my kid. 6-8h a night at that stage and then 10-12h a night at 11 weeks. Has persisted throughout infancy and toddlerhood. She is now almost 2 and only wakes up at night when really sick.
Must be nice. Mine gave me some fake out nights then slept through the night at 17 months and 12 months.

He started sleeping 4-5 hour stretches. The last 2 nights he has slept 8 hour stretches. He is gaining well but I’m nervous that is too long for him to go without eating. Should I let him sleep or wake him up?

OP here. He eats every 2 hours during the day. I’m not sure how much because he is nursing, but he he eats 8-10 times a day. He eats 7, 9, 11, 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. He has been sleeping 10-7. He does sometimes eat every hour in the being. He used to sleep 10-3/4, 3:30/4:30-7.
