30. Tall, skinny white guys, with dark hair, bonus if they have glasses the nerdier and more awkward they are the better. I don't restrict myself to this type. I accept dates from any guy that asks. Sometimes the dates go well and sometimes they don't. I generally allow for 2-3 dates before cutting it off if I'm not feeling it.
And what are you like?
I am brown, slightly above average height for a female at 5'7" thin ( 130 lbs), and nerdy myself.
So, I could have written something similar this myself at 30. Met my husband at 32. I had to online date for 7 years to meet him. In the meantime, I became my best version of myself. I tried fun classes so I’d have something to talk about on dates. ( think fencing, painting, cardio kickboxing, etc.) I volunteered for a cause I was passionate about. I cultivated a hobby I was good at. I went out with friends and always had them take a picture of me for social media/online dating. I wrote the year under my pics on my profile so guys would know that they were recent. (After 3 years or a major haircut, old pictures were taken off, even if they were amazing.) The constant stream of new pics helped me keep the profile attractive. I was using a dating service with scripted questions, so I spent about 15 minutes crafting an answer each new question, then saved the text to my email. If I got asked the same question again, I could cut and paste.
All of those years of wondering, searching, being last, fear of being alone were miserable. What I realized is that there was nothing wrong with me for being single. I just hadn’t found my nerdy guy, yet.
This. Work on yourself and being happy.
But also, what kind of guys do seem to be attracted to you OP? This information might help the board give you more specific advice.

Anonymous wrote:Maybe your issue is that nerdy, awkward guys don't date much in general...
