Subject: Playing up not by choice
I think age would be a big factor here. I’ve seen this happen at our club, they don’t have enough to fill one age group so the kids play up. Club is all about the moeny.

Whatever you don't put him in a rec program. Hire a private trainer before you ruin him in a rec environment.
Putting a kid in a rec program for three or four months won't ruin him.
