Even the top schools don't seem to send many kids to top universities, though. Do the Chicagoland privates?
Where are you getting this information? Plenty of kids from plenty of top schools in Chicagoland matriculate to top universities all over the country.
Which schools, and which "top universities?" Just read an article that none of the usual suspects like NT, Glenbrooks, etc. send many kids to the Ivys. I looked at the most recent list of GBS seniors and it was a whole lot of Wisc and Iowa State.
There's definitely some snottiness. You have kids living in $15m homes and kids in $250k condos. You raise confident, well-adjusted kids and they'll find other good kids. The school system is big, so plenty of friends to make.Anonymous wrote:Same question -how are Wilmette and Winnetka?
I also see parts of East Glenview actually feed into New Trier. Is there snottiness about the NT kids who live in Glenview/Wilmette vs Winnetka?
