Backup clothes for the kids. Just a few shirts, shorts, pants- usually stuff that’s ripped or they say they won’t wear again. But comes in handy when you go for a hike and they sit in mud or get caught in rain etc.

I keep a soft sided lunchbox in the car that has the following supplies:
Small flashlight
Ponytail holders
Compact rain poncho
Bandaids
Scissors & tape (I've wrapped many presents in the car)
Hand wipes, sanitizers, masks, latex gloves
Pencils, a pen, a sharpie
Post-it notes
Old pair of glasses (handy when I lost a contact driving once)
About 3 yards of thick red ribbon
Tylenol & Pepto bismol tablets
Nail clippers
Roll of quarters
About $25 in small bills
Ice scraper
Socks
I've used everything in the box, sometimes for unusual purposes (ribbon to tie down the trunk, socks on my hands when I had to scrape a frozen windshield etc.)

Console- tampons, reading glasses, at least $20 in smaller bills, change, a lighter, key chain with a flashlight , toothbrush/paste, mints.
I live in Fl. I have used the gloves and paper towels multiple times to move turtles across the road. Also used a towel once to wrap up an injured squirrel I found at a gas station so I always keep an old one in my car.
