In my experience as a tall woman (5’11”), tall men often end up with short — and even very short — women. Many relationships I know that involve a woman under 5’5” involve a man 6’0” and up.

Maybe it isn’t your height that is limiting your dates — how is your confidence?

I’m 5’ 0 I’ve never thought about it. My boyfriend is 6’0.

I am short and while short men would be better for me in dancing, ahem cuddling, etc. the men who want to sexually assault me, physically assault me, bully me are short or unmuscular. The "short" guys I meet like to talk like they care about women, but in practice won't protect them opting to blame and oppress women then talk back to another dude. By "short" I Napoleon complex, not actual height. I find foreign men arriving here who are 5'6" are far less violent and misogynist than American born 5'7"s with the same foreign parents-hence the quotes. OP, if you are going to date, date a protective in practice guy who never was spanked (short or not).

I’m 5’3” and it’s never been a problem and my husband is a very normal 5’10”. I did once have a BF was was 6’6” and that difference was very extreme in many ways both good and bad.

It is hopeless. There isn't any woman under 5'4 who found a mate in this world. Scarlet Johannsen, Janelle Montae, Simone Biles, Ariana Grande, Paula Abdul, Jada Pinkett...they're all so talented and beautiful, but destined to never find anyone because sadly they are under 5'4.

Am 5’2” married to 6’4” and previous boyfriends ranged from 5’10 to 6’5” so really not an issue. Not sure where you even would’ve gotten this idea from

Everyone loses an inch or more as they age. If you are already very short, you are only going to get shorter.

The world is filled with short men who are dying to tower over you. What is the problem? Seriously.

And they're likely to be super nice to you. The tall hot ones can get whoever they want and sometimes it shows.

I'm 5'2" and overweight. Never had issues dating good guys. Been married for over a decade now and my marriage is awesome. Dh is a great guy. You need more confidence!

Ha. My mom was 5'2", my dad was 6'3". They did fine and were married 61 years before my dad passed.

My 6'3" brother decided he had to top him. He dated someone who was 4'9". He'd be sitting down and she'd be standing beside him in heels, and he was still taller. They eventually broke up after 4-5 years but it had nothing to do with her height. Or lack thereof.

Not all short women are petite . Short and fat is common.

But so is tall and fat.

Tall women carry the weight better in old age. Short women turn into weebles when they get fat in old age.

Constant struggle to keep weight down.

The only thing that really matters here is your weight.
