I resent my coworkers who expect me to cover for them as they care for their small children.

As a single person in a 600 square foot condo, I hated lockdowns, and I never really followed them in the sense that you stay literally indoors in your home. Yeah, screw that. Fine with me if you like staying home, but don’t you dare impose that on my vaccinated, mask-complient arse. No I will not stay home.

And no nearby family with more space or who could help with childcare when schools and daycare facilities were closed and had limited enrollment. We did not enjoy lock down.
And yet we have numerous friends with OP’s set up who repeatedly turned to us to vent about being “cooped up” or needing to get out of town (to their family’s large estates or vacation homes). No idea why these people are too dumb to u derstand it’s rude to complain that much to people who have a lot fewer resources than you. I think being rich makes people socially stupid. Look at the billionaires— my theory holds up.

There is nothing stopping you from staying in your own personal lockdown. Let us live our lives!
is that you spread virus around everywhere, killing people, while out there living your life.
