Baby shampoo may work. No joke.

Holy crap OP.

Whole Foods sells a clarifying shampoo - Desert Essence Lemon Tea Tree. Use that a few times. Aveda sells a similar clarifying shampoo - Rosemary Mint.

After you get that gunk out, I would buy Nixzoral shampoo at pharmacy or grocery store in dandruff area. It's ketoconazole, real strong antifungal. You could also mix 1 drop of Doterra or Young Living brand tea tree oil into the big glob of shampoo and stir well before you apply. I would absolutely not use any tea tree from the shelf at a store. It's junk and will burn your head. Including the "100% pure" kind at Whole Foods. I know, I had awful experience of trying that.

A scabbing or oozing mile is a indicator of skin cancer OP. You may have two issues going on at once. Please see a dermatologist.

Might be yeast combined with bacteria infection.

I never had chicken pox. I think it’s folliculitis of some kind. Hoping it’s not staphylococcus!! But yes I’ll go to the derm too or my pcp this week. I just need to get all this freaking bacitracin out!

Use a dry shampoo (or cornstarch) to soak up the Bacitracin. I’ve had great success after a stylist putting way too much product in my hair.

But…you need to see a derm.

I would suggest just using a clarifying shampoo or apple cider vinegar head and shoulders. That will clarify and remove the oil.
