The travel is the number one complaint with these types of leagues.

And they also want to play in crap HS soccer which causes certain division alignment issues.

HS is soccer is what drives MD and VA teams from aligning divisions at all levels of league play. This affects all DMV leagues in HS years.

I don't think anyone is disputing that is the case. The league is simply responding to the desires of it's customers. GAL doesn't do this, you might want to check it out.

I was directly responding to the PP who stated the following:

"Dang, I was hoping the girls conferences were going to be re-aligned and combine MD and VA teams. Pisses me off they have not done so yet."

So yes, people are disputing it as well as not understanding the real reason such a obvious division alignment would otherwise take place.
