What aggravates me is they send out the meet sheets without times and guard the times like they are top secret. I just don’t get it as you can look up each persons time on the NVSL website.
Your meet sheets don’t have the seed times? I don’t understand the secrecy for the top 6. One of the great things about swimming is that it isn’t subjective, the times don’t lie. I can see the argument for why a complete ladder isn’t posted, but there is no reason that the top swimmers’ times should be a secret, and the kids near the top who are trying to improve and get to an A meet should know how far away they are and how many people are in front of them. The times aren’t a secret at our pool, but there is no ladder published so people have to figure out on their own (if they care) what the ladder is.
