+1. I am curious too. We moved our son to private high school (not because of the pandemic but because that is what we always planned to do). I still have a kid in MCPS (and will put them in private HS when the time comes). These emails, calls, videos, etc. seem like a massive waste of resources. What do they care what my family does? Focus on currently enrolled students mcps.

The video informs everyone, whether enrolled in public or private school, what the protocols will be in the Fall and so it's very much for currently enrolled students too. The cost of sending a special email to link to the video to some people is pretty close to zero.

The cost of the video wasn't nothing. Email is. However they should have sent that to all families early on so we could register for virtual. I think its horrible that they are not taking Covid seriously at all and no testing, everything back to normal, especially with our 12 and under kids. I thought they'd have some safety precautions in place. Now it leaves the rest of us in a bind.
