For PAC, it was their first year doing Super Y (only 2 teams, the 07 girls and boys). The parents (and players) wanted to play, PAC made it happen. This year under Majestic but possibly next year PAC will join Super Y themselves.

Just speaking of the girls here.

NOVA Majestic in the 2009 age group is mostly 2009 girls exclusively. I would tend to think the other age groups are as well.

Great Falls is usually a mix of Great Falls, Metro, FCV and others.

Arlington is mostly Arlington.

Bethesda is mostly Bethesda and Potomac.

Running Super Y requires a lot of admin stuff this is why some clubs decide not to directly participate. I guess under Majestics umbrella teams from different clubs have the option to participate without the hassle of the paperwork.

Because not all clubs are interested in running a Super Y program. Majestics offer coaches who can pull a team together a place to register through and arrange practice fields.

Super Y is intended to be club agnostic. Many Futsal clubs are similar in that they are not attached to any particular club though their geographic location may serve several mutual clubs.

This really isn't that complicated or even sinister.


I believe its all legit and have no complaints. Just wasnt sure why some clubs use their own name and other use NOVA Majestic.


Clubs don't use Majestic. Coaches from clubs use Majestic. That is the misunderstanding that you have. Majestic is agnostic of player and club. If a coach at Vienna can put together a team it is easier to use Majestic than it is to use VYS.
