Just change the 1 tire. a 328i is not a particularly high performance machine that requires matches, uni-directional tires. Just check any local tire place for a run-flat tire price.

I've replaced one (or two) of four tires on multiple luxury performance cars (>70k cars) and have never had a problem with mismatched tires as long as there isn't more than 15k miles on the tires. That said, non of these were BMW so perhaps BMW is a worse engineered car that is particularly susceptible to poor ride quality when all tires are not precisely matched

Urban luxury car driver whose wife has a penchant for curb damaging tires (and rims!). Have routinely replaced just one tire… unless you are on the Nurburgring you will have zero issues with one tire having a few mm more tread!!

With a BMW you need 4 new tires not 2. No one who drives a performance or luxury brand replaced only 2. Go to Costco or stop asking and go spend a $1000 each at the dealer.

Costco. Michelin brand less than $800 for 4 on sale.

Go to Radial Tire in Silver Spring. They are some of the best on the East coast.

BMWs require special tires. They need the round ones!

Have not read all the response. YES you can replace the tires with non-runflats that are otherwise appropriate for the car. That is exactly what we did with our BMW that is a few years old.

Membership is just $60. Pay it. I am a member, but I definitely think it would be worth paying an "extra" $60 for Costco service /warranty.

My SIL got a membership just to book a trip. Her choice was to pay Costco's price + $60 membership or pay $500 more to book elsewhere.... And Costco threw in transportation and a $150 cash card

OP said it's on the wall but I am having hard time understanding how a paper clip punctured to begin with.

I second Tire Rack. Also, BMWs do NOT require special tires. If you read elsewhere about needing a tire with a “star” on it, it only matters if you’re leasing one and/or under warranty, but for a 10 year old BMW a standard run-flat tire should do.

Radial Tire Company in Silver Spring. Best tire shop I’ve ever dealt with.
