There is nothing intense about MS, not even an 8th grader taking Geometry. It's fine.

Pre-Algebra (my oldest did Algebra in 8th but ended up with a tutor, not worth the stress)
PE
Computer Electives (Not coding, took it last year and hated it.)

When I was in middle school there were no honors courses at all and electives til high school. So I'd have to say yes that schedule looks too intense. I don't even want to imagine the homework
