I had the same issue. Poor DH was scared to tell me too. I blew him off. A year later got my thyroid checked due to other symptoms, started replacement hormones and voila! Bad breath was gone!

It can definitely indicate a medical issue.

+ 1
Waterpik - Add hydrogen peroxide in the water of the waterpik.
Tongue Scraper - Use a copper one from Amazon. Periodically clean it with lemon juice/vinegar and salt
Tonsil stone remover - Airgoesin from Amazon is pretty good.

This is what Tonsils Stones look like.

Omg, you REALLY should have put a trigger warning on your post... I was eating for god's sake! 🤢

Bad breath and reacting in anger - not a good combo. I would be blunt and bear her wrath.

Don’t tell her. I agree with a previous poster about modeling good behavior and getting some hygiene tools for the both of you. Good luck! If that doesn’t work is there someone close to you, you could ask to tell her?

What did the doctor discover and do for this?

Has she been to the dentist recently? If she is really that sensitive, I would just start offering her mints and leaving mints around.

She also might have an auto-brewery thing doing on due to gastroparesis or another GI issue.

Alcoholic mommy winos can have turd breath from overindulgence and because of your guts rotting from the inside out. I'm sure she's a drunk.
