Do you have kids ? Why wouldn’t you worry about their exposure?
Because risk to kids is basically zero. You did know that right?

NP and it would not bother me either. My kids see their unvaccinated cousins and unvaccinated friends. The kids are too young to be vaccinated but all of us are okay letting them hang out together and no one is wearing masks now. This isn’t different. Numbers are low. Don’t go if you feel comfortable but you are more likely to come across a lot more unvaccinated people without masks anywhere you go at this point.

Well, the grandparents are the ones allowing the unvaccinated in-laws to come on the vacation. It’s their choice.

Anonymous wrote:OP here… my kid has to be masked for day camps this summer, and I accept that.
Anonymous wrote:OP here… yes, I said that. 3 of the 4 of us are vaxxed. The 4th is not eligible, and has very mild asthma.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Planned a trip at end of July with the ILs and I asked DH if they were all vaxxed… and just found out that two teens and 1 adult are not. All are in red states and the adult and 1 teen are MAGA nuts. I have a younger kid not eligible. I am pissed. I guess I have to make my kid wear a mask at all times with them right? (We are renting apartments in CO at a resort.) It’s a celebration trip for the grandparents and I know DH won’t pull out. Suggestions? Ideas?
are you and your family vaccinated? then what's the issue here. what's the point of getting vaccinated....
I am thinking of pulling out and just sending DH. I get that there is exposure in airports, planes, etc. but now I would have to have my kid in a mask at all times with the family. Two of them are in a state where the Delta variant is rampant.
