For boys 13 and over, it goes Academy, Blue, Green.

Right, BSC is putting Green, their 3rd team, in CCL. No clue where Blue is.

I just looked and Blue is the 3rd team for Girls. Goes ECNL, ECNL-R, then CCL-R which is Blue and also state cup team now. That mustve started this year because Bethesda 2008 girls ECNL team in State Cup last year. I would think most of their 3rd teams would struggle in state cup moving forward if this is the plan.

Battle between USYS and USCS. "Regional" sounds good to all. They are fighting for turf. USCS jumped on the situation and now USYS is circling the wagons. None of it matters. If your kid can play then they will be seen.

And yet USYS dilutes itself between CCL, EDP and NCSL.

Said it before, will say it again -- CCL should do tournaments, not a league.

If they merge all 3 leagues into 1 league with multiple divisions and promotion/relegation model, it will become a very good league. CCL has a different model, which makes it harder, but NCSL and EDP can certainly merge since their models are very similar.

Top team is MLS Next then it seems like CCL-RL

I can't see BSC putting their second team in CCL-RL.

Looks like CCL picked up some new member clubs for CCL Next Gen.

I love United Soccer Coaches, but I wouldn't put much stock in that award. If you're doing a club-centric league in which some clubs are entering B or C teams and some clubs need to find fill-in teams from elsewhere, I'm not sure I see the point.

I agree about United Soccer Coaches. At one point it wasn’t second tier teams though. It will be interesting to see how things go with all the leagues this season.

Agree. The clubs that will go to ecnl-R will probably encounter lower level overall club competition than they had when they were in ccl
Not that ccl was amazing but overall the club line up was stronger than ecnl-r. It’s just a new label. As stated many times before it would be better
If all those clubs were in one combined league versus two separate ones.
