You have it backwards. We need to watch out for bullying and harassment against vaccinated students and adults who choose not to wear masks. Some in this area want everyone to mask forever.


Not forever. We are reasonable people. Just until it's safe for everyone and until the younger kids get vaccinated. Wearing a mask isn't going to kill you. Not wearing one might.

How is Covid19 a scam? People have died. Our neighbors have died. It is very distressing to read about this insanity. I hope your kids don't get long Covid19.

but there is very little evidence about covid spreading in elementary schools even before the vaccine

Some districts aren't going to do concurrent at all. Some are planning for kids who have to quarantine will go to the "quarantine class" with a teacher just supervising those groups until they can return to the regular class. This, to me, is the best least disruptive solution.

As long as Duran is in charge, I believe masks will be mandatory.. esp since some teachers are already citing they are "scared for their lives" of being in classrooms with unmasked children.

Considering that many of those kids might still be unvaccinated, I don’t blame them!
