Genetics. I've always had shapely legs - proportionate, toned/athletic with slim ankles. But I'm short waisted and tend to gain in my midsection. I do workout a lot, but they've always been that way even when I've put on weight at different times in my life.

Great legs usually mean great feet. Perfect combination

This is me. Shorts and a loose top is my go-to. Although I like my legs less now that I have spider veins from pregnancy

This is me too. I have an "apple" or "inverted triangle" shape, with broad shoulders and naturally shapely legs. I carry my weight in my breasts and midsection. I would never wear a bikini

same here.

That here, I think it is not that hard to have good legs? If you are in the least bit active, your legs will be in good shape. Much harder to achieve a flat stomach or toned arms. And things like long legs relative to your body is just genetics which you can't do anything about.

that is … not true at all. I am a pear shape with short legs and cankles. I can tone my arms and flatten my stomach easily. my legs will never look like hollywood legs, ever.

+1 my arms and core are naturally toned. My legs look fine with exercise, but if I’m lazy they are not attractive

It’s mostly genetics.

Britney does not have skinny legs but she has the solid, rock hard legs of a dancer. I agree, they’re beautiful. Some people just mean “long and slender” when they think of great legs though.

Kate's legs are thin enough, but they're very short relative to her height. She's extremely long waisted. Fine, but not legs I would covet.
