6 weeks. Then I did not get my periods for 2 years. I was nursing for 3 years, EBF and on demand for 9 months.

I cried when my periods started again, I really liked not having my periods. I think that because DC was not having too much of my milk as he grew up (only in the morning, before naps and at night for comfort) and drinking more of regular milk and eating solids that the amount of milk I was producing went down. Lo and behold, my body became ready to get pregnant again.

5 weeks. But when I would do "strenuous" chores like lifting laundry baskets and vacuuming, I would bleed more bright red several hours later.

Closer to 8 weeks than 6.

Less than 2 weeks with 4/5 vaginal births, no tearing, EBF (no pumping). Is it your 1st child? I remember with my first, it stopped and then returned 2-3 days later. PP bleeding lasted 4 weeks with my first born.

About 3 weeks. Then I got a period 6 months later.

I’m 12 weeks postpartum and still experiencing intermittent bleeding. I’ll go about a week between bleeding episodes and then heavy bleeding and clotting will start again. Had an ultrasound and blood work done 12 days ago and everything was normal.

4-6 weeks. I also never took it slow. I felt so energetic postpartum that I couldn't sit down. I was at stroller strides at 4 weeks. I was dying to meet people for lunch and at mom's group. I followed that lead and did what I wanted to do mentally. But I think it meant more bleeding.

That being said, my best friend still had large golf ball sized clots at 6 weeks. She had a retained placenta. It had grown into her uterus walls and so it didn't all fall out. So be on the lookout if it's that bad.
