I think there will be more than a normal year but not as many as DCUM makes it seem.


I’m in another system (FCC) and have a rising K late summer birthday boy we considered red shirting. We met with our principal and asked if they are expecting larger than normal and/or a lot of red shirted kids and he said the numbers are very normal and on par with previous years.

Yes, they will. They’ll need to be masked and do the health screening

Several schools are only offering specials by iPad right now so K-2 are on their iPads about half the time.


Specials are not half the day. It’s 30 minutes.
