When she’s a bit older, though, it will be a great intro into discussions about consent and about sex and relationships and emotions.

Are you streaming the Israeli version (Beauty and the Baker)? I did a search but keep coming up with the American remake (reverse title - Baker and the Beauty), which looks pretty terrible.
P.S. My 13 yo DD gave a hard pass to Dawson's Creek, too. But she loved Outer Banks.

If she likes Marvel stuff, Agent Carter is AMAZING.
Great post-war women’s history, along with a lot of Stark back story and Peggy Carter kicking serious butt while being heinously under-appreciated by the SSI.
I’d say you’d only need to have watched Captain America and have a passing familiarity with the first few Iron Man movies to really understand the nuances, but it’s still fun as a stand-alone show.

If you can find it, the 1955 version of "Night of the Hunter" is one of the best psychological thrillers ever made. It was not well received by critics or the public when it was first released but it is now used in filmmaking schools and is regarded as one of the best films ever made. Since it was made in black and white, not color, and takes place mostly after dark, I suggest you watch it in the evening after dinner.
