How is this ugly?![]()
That one is cute. It’s not a standard.

What makes you think they’re more stupid than the average dog? The ones I know trained pretty easily.
What? I have a mini golden doodle and she is the smartest puppy I’ve ever seen. She learned her commands by the second week home!

No/minimal shedding.
Relatively easy to train.
No loud barking.
Doesn’t seem to be prone to major health issues.
On the smaller side (no massive poops, okay with a small yard)
Good with kids
Unnecessary to do a ton of grooming
I would really prefer a cuter breed but I think we are stuck with this one.
All of your points can be valid except for the last. They do require a ton of grooming otherwise their hair would be all matted up.
But with grooming we are just talking brushing their hair right? Not regular visits to get it cut?

Haircut every six weeks. They don’t shed so they need haircuts.

No. They need hair cuts, especially in spring/summer.

Anonymous wrote:They are dumb dumb happy go lucky dogs for the most part, which is what the average dog owner wants. “No shed” is the in thing right now, so everything is being doodled.
