Mean! You know MYS did not cut this year.
I think PP is correct. MYS technically did not cut players, but they gave several players from green (their top team in pre-ECNL age groups) offers to join gold (which is their C team). There was also movement down from White and Gold teams, but I am not aware of any upward movement unlike last year when a handful of kids earned promotion to higher teams. Some kids still didn't have offers as of last practice. Why do you think there are so many MYS kids trying out with other clubs? The surprising thing is that we did not see many new kids at the tryouts, but our coach told the families that the club will be adding a lot of outside players for the next season. Something must be going on behind the scenes. They are keeping the same number of teams and they promised families that everyone will get an offer to stay at the club. So, if they are adding a lot of outside players, they will have bloated rosters if everyone accepts.

Clubs will always find room for a talented player.
THIS.

A very talented kid on our lower team surprisingly did not move up. This rings true.

I thought PAC was going to EDP ? Does that mean they are expecting to replace a fair amount of players with new ones?
Some teams will play in EDP and others in NCSL.
PAC always has a long tryout season, not sure why. My child’s team has almost no turnover, one kid leaving I believe. Some age groups seem to be adding teams.
I heard they are adding a 2009 team as they had a high number of turnouts of girls in that age group. Currently there's only an 08 team and 09s play up on it.
