This baby is only 4 months old. .ost 4 months old can't go all night without a feeding.
OP. He has in the past. I’d honestly prefer a 2am feeding and sleeping later to a ten hour stretch that ends before dawn, but so far he appears callously indifferent to my preferences. [/quote
I hope you are joking! Babies aren't callously indifferent! YOU ARE THE PARENT and they NEED YOU to take care of them!!
Anonymous wrote:My four month old is a good sleeper. Except every morning, like clockwork, he wakes up at 5am. It’s definitely not light coming in the window because the sun isn’t up yet! He’s just awake and wants to roll around and gurgle and smile at me and spit up, all of which is fine but...could it please wait until 6?
A day looks like:
5am: VERY AWAKE
6 or 6:30am: 30 minute nap
then naps after 1.5-2 hours of wakefulness, ideally three but sometimes they’re 25 minute naps so there are a lot of them
5pm, give or take: last nap, usually short
sometime between 7 and 8: bedtime
2am: feeding, back to sleep
I haven’t been trying to put him on a schedule, this is just how his tired signs have worked out. But I’d really like him to sleep later, so I can sleep later. Any advice?
