During A meets, or in general?
Our swim team is not enforcing mask wearing in general (after tomorrow) but they haven’t yet addressed A meets, which would be under the purview of the NVSL.
Right now my friend on the Board said all officials on deck will have to wear masks for A meets. WTF. Apparently there are some crazies making the calls. We are not planning on doing that for B meets. This will make A meets a disaster.
Officials, coaches and swimmers.

Yep. It’s going to be hard to get timers and officials. Why would someone time in a mask when they can just watch maskless.
If pools still won't allow spectators that might be an incentive.
Or will they change this policy too? My understanding is that this might depend on the particular pool.
Anonymous wrote:It is ridiculous to require masks when pools, swim practices, and B meets aren’t. Everyone is already exposed and together all day. My swimmer dive and divers swim. They will be crossing practices. If they want to be overly cautious just ask for A meet officials / workers who are vaccinated.
