Since they included an illustration, surely they could have managed a single photo of the food that they dedicated an entire article to?

Actually, I read the New Yorker online all the time, and they do indeed have photos. But thanks for your input, weirdly-butthurt PP!

Definitely a panini! Can put anything in it. For potato lovers... diced potatoes, eggs, onions, butter and cheese. Easily the Italian meatless Friday "poor man's" meal in our house long ago. The key is the bread! And a good panini press.
