Not sure if this happened at Bucknell, but I went to Colgate and a while ago they required that the fraternities and sororities sell their houses to the university if they wanted to keep active status.

It’s a shame because it’s got a lovely campus and is a good size for a SLAC. Admin needs to bring the school into a new era if they want to attract top students.
