Maybe the first round of offers have gone out? It was a tough tryout session on Sunday. It was unbearably hot, the boys were wearing masks and all the boys were surrounding the ball. Good luck to all!

Yes it is. Here are some tips - listen to the coaches by looking at them in the eye when they're talking, get the ball when it goes out of bounds, don't show off with big kicks unless you can control where it goes - they want team players not showoffs, show you can be a good teammate by giving feedback or communicating to "teammates". Goodluck!
Thank you! I told my son to be a good listener and that the coaches probably wanted to see the boys hustling and showing that they really wanted to be there, in addition to soccer skills (which are kind of hard to demonstrate on those little playing areas).
Psst! Those little playing areas are great for demonstrating soccer skills -- either you have the footskills to control the ball and receive/pass it accurately, or you don't. Smaller area = less margin for error, and the coaches want to see what players make of that.
