It makes me look less angry for sure. I have these deep, deep lines that are then surrounded by smooth, glowy skin. Its downright bizarre looking sometimes actually- like the skin age and the muscle age don't line up. A light touch helps immensely to not look like I'm scowling when I am not making any expression at all
If your lines are that deep you should be getting filler there & a little Botox. I know this from going with an ex to his appt. And for the record, he's a black straight attorney who just does this in his "11s"- and no, you could never tell.
It's funny to see all the Botox bashers who firmly believe only overdone, plastic looking white women get fillers or Botox. You HAVE NO IDEA about who's getting what done because if it's done well it's not obvious!

Seriously, not true. Not true, not true, not true.
I know there are Botox haters out there but I’ve been getting Botox for migraines for a decade, and in addition to injection sites all over my head and neck they do the standard cosmetic sites - and they do a lot more than someone would do for cosmetic reasons.
When it wears off it’s gone. GONE.
Also the overarched brow, which I’ve had many many many times because my injector is a neurologist and not a cosmetic dermatologist, is about the placement, not about “too much” Botox.
I don’t know why so many people think they know about Botox and post dumb replies here when they know nothing at all.
