I dont mean to be rude, but you are a moron. Do you even understand coronavirus data? The important figure here is the number of new cases per 100,000 people, and your own data shows DC is significantly worse than the vast majority of states, with 14.8 cases per 100,000. Look at Alabama. They have 3.8.

Meanwhile we have these absurd restrictions that have accomplished nothing. They've done less than nothing. Look at what's happening to DC schools. We have an educational catastrophe with these children being out of school so long. A majority of children in this country currently attend school five days per week. In some parts of the country, children have never missed a day of school because of coronavirus. Meanwhile, in DC less than 20 percent are even in hybrid, despite teachers being vaccinated. That is unconscionable and will be unforgiveable.

You may want to reconsider your post. Alabama is running 66 tests per 100,000, while DC is running 790 per 100,000. If you do not test, you do not know what the facts are on the ground. It is actually called intelligence. But, presumably, you follow the Small Man on these issues.

It’s a thankless job.

A thankless job that Bowser will turn into a half-million dollar a year (or more) "consulting" gig after she leaves office, like everyone does. Mayor of DC doesn't springboard you to statewide or national politics like it does in other major cities, but it sets you up for the old revolving door grift quite nicely.

Oh stop with the "look at the other states!" crap. Bowser is horrible. She won't ever be called out on it of course. Nobody on this thread is saying oh! look at this state - it is so much better than DC.

Who even compares DC to Kansas or Idaho? Better take a look at the stats on death and Covid and risk %. Not sure how pro-life movement fits into a discussion of Bowser and her job performance.

Oh stop. Bowser is power grabbing - she has messed up on every aspect of this pandemic. Schools shuttered, businesses gone, racist vaccine priorities, the 23 hour lockdown in jails, stupid restrictions that are meaningless and will not be observed.

She is a complete idiot.

The Bowser administration has been in over its head since the start of the pandemic.

*Since her inauguration.

Only when you do a bad job. Bowser is bad at everything. How does someone this incompetent even get elected?

Or, you know, actually give a sht for those incarcerated.

Or give a sht for children. Most kids in this country have been back in school full time for a long time. Kids in DC are going to pay the price for Bowser's incompetence for the rest of their lives.

Do people in MS still get tested for covid?

But yes, the restrictions in DC and other places like it are largely pointless, and have been for a while.
