Why wouldn’t the Manassas kids become full members of SYC now that a new season is around the corner? If they are good enough to play and get significant minutes, surely they are good enough to just straight up join SYC.
Maybe they like the flexibility to play on two teams. Maybe they like their manassas coach and the players they play with.

Well that's the thing with all of these alliances. What does "alliance" really mean when really any qualified player can come in a try for a spot? Very little really beyond optics.
