Can we accept new and just pay deposit then cancel if want to stay with old?
Will need club wait if we ask?
Is it reallyn48 hours and then gone?

My son received an offer after the first of two tryouts for a team. We have gone back and specifically asked them what position and which team he will be placed on. Without that information, we cannot compare apples to apples.
However, I don't think the coach will know the specific roster until past the offer due date. I think that you can ask the parents who may be moving and the coach might give you an idea but I don't believe they can provide specifics.
I don't think asking for more info is every bad - all they can say is no.

What could they counter offer if you’re on the top team? And even if it’s to move up a team, does it make sense to get there by forcing their hand?
