Why do you say that? I pay good money for my kid to be on the best team and make a D1 roster. That is how we do it here at DCUM.

We had a son play in BRYC rec and enjoyed it; we also had a good experience in Vienna Youth Soccer (VYS) rec. Both are light years ahead of where “rec” was when I was a kid.

Some of my kids have gone on to play travel, others have stayed with rec and love it. Soccer is a great sport, builds teamwork and camaraderie and is good exercise.
